In this sequel, fox spirit Xiao Wei leaves the frozen cell to seek someone who willingly gives her a heart so she can become a human. Xiao Wei encounters a princess with a scarred face and offers to exchange her pretty face for her heart. As the princess accepts the offer, they both get resurrected but this ignites a war between humans and spirits!
