The movie portrays the later life of grandmaster Ip Man in Hong Kong, including his romantic relationship with a singer after his wife died, much to his students’ opposition; his relationship with his eldest son who is also his student; and finally, his reunion with disciple Bruce Lee after the latter becomes an international superstar.
